As a community-driven, nonpartisan initiative, Granite State Awareness Project (GSAP) is committed to fostering a respectful, inclusive, and constructive environment. By engaging with GSAP events, spaces, communications, or networks, participants agree to uphold the shared values and standards of our organization.
- Maintain Nonpartisanship
We are united as a nonpartisan community. This is not a platform for elected officials, candidates for public office, or partisan advocacy. Campaigning, electioneering, or promoting political parties or individual candidates is not permitted in any form. Our focus is on civic awareness, education, and community-driven engagement, not political promotion. - Respect Privacy
We are committed to protecting your privacy. Names, email addresses, and personal contact information will never be shared with outside organizations. Any sharing of information within local community groups will occur only with clear and informed consent from the individual. To maintain trust and safety, please do not screenshot, forward, or share others’ comments or posts without the explicit permission of the original author. - Uplift Community Voices
Actively listen and keep conversations focused on the everyday realities and priorities of local communities and people directly impacted. Our goal is to empower everyday residents to shape civic dialogue and local decision-making, ensuring that policies and priorities reflect the lived experience of the community, not the agenda of outside interests. - Engage Respectfully
Engage with civility and a genuine desire to understand, even when there are strong disagreements. Critique ideas—not individuals—and avoid personal attacks, inflammatory language, or assumptions about intent. We can and should stand firmly against injustice, misinformation, or harmful ideologies, while still treating others with respect. Approach every interaction with generosity, and assume that others are acting in good faith. - Keep an Open Mind
Remain open to new information, diverse viewpoints, and honest discussion. A willingness to learn is key to our shared progress, including the possibility of adjusting our own assumptions, communication styles, or perspectives when presented with new insight. - Advance Awareness, Not Aggression
Our goal is to foster greater understanding, not to harm, shame, or humiliate others. We strictly prohibit doxing, public shaming, and harassment of individuals or groups in any form. We are committed to maintaining a safe and respectful environment for all participants, and we do not condone or engage in political violence, whether physical, verbal, or digital.
Accountability
To protect the integrity of our shared space and mission, organizers reserve the right to remove individuals from email lists, volunteer activities, or other community spaces if they are found to be in violation of these standards. Our goal is not exclusion, but to maintain an environment that is safe, respectful, and effective in building awareness and civic connection.
We thank you for your commitment to this community and its values.
